Here are some examples of poems incorporating calligraphy and illustration,  that I’ve been commissioned to hand-letter and decorate. My aim is to capture the character of the poem through the choice of calligraphic style, design, color and decoration. I only use archival materials. The cost varies according to the length of the poem and the complexity and detail of the decoration. I will create a rough draft for your approval before I begin the finished piece. My base fee to hand-write a short, undecorated poem is $100.
